Summary:

The Business Analyst is responsible for defining and developing business content for future releases of Infor Performance Management. The Business Analysts role spans the full product development lifecycle. The position involves close interaction with key customers, product architects, developers, quality assurance and technical writers. The Business Analyst is expected to possess an understanding of common business processes that span functions such as finance, purchasing, sales, and production, with a focus on finance. The Business Analyst will focus on enhancing the Infor Performance Management solution for improved support of the budgeting, planning, forecasting, consolidation and financial reporting needs of our customers.
Job duties include gathering requirements from customers and the field, writing requirements documents, designing and implementing budgeting, reporting and analysis content, supporting the realization of these products through the product development lifecycle, and maintaining close involvement during implementation with early customers to ensure successful adoption.

Responsibilities:

• Be accountable for the Infor Performance Management functionality and ensure that it meets customer needs
• Possess a deep understanding of how customers use the products
• Define and build budgeting, planning, forecasting, consolidation and financial reporting content
• Leverage common technology such as SQL and java scripting to support job tasks such as validating business data or building business content
• Work closely with project teams and directly with customers to ensure that product content meet the needs of early adopters
• Support and actively participate in product testing, reviewing functionality to ensure delivered product meets customer needs
• Reconcile product features from original requirements to final delivered product
• Communicate product release plans and current capabilities to all areas within the organization, as well as to external stakeholders
• Be an evangelist for the product, demonstrating capabilities of the product in a positive light in both internal and external settings

Required Skills:

• Recent college graduates who are high achievers with a drive to succeed
• Job experience in the finance organization within retail, financial institutions, distribution, foodservice, customer service, telecommunications, warehouse, transportation, health care, manufacturing sectors through an internship or co-op would be an asset.
• Knowledge of and experience common technologies including SQL scripting, java scripting, and reporting and business intelligence tools
• Leadership roles in extracurricular activities a plus
• Ability to grasp concepts quickly
• Patience and long term career goals very important
• A team player with the ability to build strong peer and interpersonal relationships
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient PC Skills in Microsoft Office

Education & Experience:

• 4yr College Degree: Finance, Business, Information Services/Information Technology
