Position: Quality Assurance Analyst (Posted on 9/8/09) Company:  Infor Global Solutions Location:  Ann Arbor, MI Summary: The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for defining and executing the software test efforts of the Infor Performance Management application. The Quality Analysts role spans the full product development lifecycle. The position involves close interaction with product developers, business analysts, technical writers and customers. The Quality Assurance Analyst is expected to possess an understanding of common quality assurance processes and tools, common technologies such as SQL and java scripting, and Infor customer's typical business needs and processes. Job duties include defining test strategies based on product specifications, and creating and executing test plans to realize the test strategy. Creation and maintenance of an automated testing system to drive overall product quality and process efficiency is also a key responsibility of the role. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the software test efforts of the Infor Performance Management application. Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle is a true benefit in that the Quality Assurance Analyst will be partnering with other staff for designing and executing the various test efforts. The position requires the QA Analyst to create and execute both manual and automated test plans and test cases from requirements documentation, use cases, and technical specifications.
