Payment Card

Types of Cards

The Payment Card Program includes two types of credit cards, a corporate card and a declining balance card. The corporate card allows employees to make purchases for the general office as well as to make travel arrangements for University related business. The declining balance card also allows for these purchases, but is set up with a designated time limit as well as a set spending limit which declines with each purchase and is not renewable.

The monthly and single transation limits are set based upon cardholders/departmental needs not to exceed University spending guidelines and signature authority policy and must be approved by the President or a Cabinet member.

All purchases made with the Payment Card must be in accordance with Payment Card Procedures. Use of the Payment Card may be revoked if the card is not properly used.
