Designating/Removing a Proxy

A proxy is a person who acts as an approver on your behalf when you are unable to complete approver tasks (e.g. you are on vacation or are sick).

Follow these directions to designate a proxy:

  1. Open the Summary page. See Accessing the Summary Page for more information.
  2. From the Time Sheet/Leave Request/Proxy page, click the Proxy Set Up link.

  3. From the Proxy Set Up page, click the Name pull-down arrow and select the person you want to designate as a proxy.
    Note: To navigate quicker, type the first letter of the proxy's name.
  4. Click the Add checkbox next to the person you want to add as a proxy.
  5. Click the Time Reporting Selection link.

  6. Notify the Payroll Department that you have a new proxy.
  7. Notify the person you set up as a proxy of their new status.

Follow these directions to remove a proxy:

  1. From the Time Sheet/Leave Request/Proxy page, click the Proxy Set Up link.
  2. Click the Remove checkbox next to the person you want to remove as a proxy.
  3. Click the Save button.
    Note: The name is removed from the list of proxies.
  4. Click the Time Reporting Selection link.
