Eagle OneCard

The Eagle Card Office is located at 120 EMU Student Center – Ypsilanti, MI 48197 (on the first floor of the Student Center).  The hours of operation are 9am to 5pm, Monday through Thursday, and 9am to 4pm on Friday.

The required, official University identification card is the Eagle OneCard.  All students must have an Eagle OneCard in order to receive a refund from the University.  To order a OneCard, main campus students should visit the Eagle Card Office during regular business hours.  Students attending EMU through distance education should contact the Eagle Card Office via telephone at (734) 487-3176 and follow the steps in our Distance Learners brochure.

The OneCard not only allows students to select their refund preference (deposit onto the OneCard, direct deposit to another bank account, or having a check issued), but the Eagle OneCard acts as the campus community’s pass for dining plans, building and event access, library privileges, and much more!  Students also have the option of opening an Eagle Express account.  The Eagle Express is a separate on-campus debit account designed for campus food and supply purchases using only the Eagle OneCard.  It is accepted at all dining services locations and most other on-campus vendors.  The Eagle Express qualifies students for discounts on certain purchases and allows them to replenish funds by cash, check, or credit card in-person or by phone.  To open an account, an initial deposit of $25.00 is required.  If students decide to close their Eagle Express account at any time, the remaining balance will be transferred to their EMU student account.

There are several HigherOne ATMs located on EMU's campus. Visit the Mark Jefferson Building by the elevators, Downing Hall outside the Housing and Dining Office, the REC/IM lobby, the second floor of Pierce Hall, or the second floor in the College of Business. To locate these buildings, view the campus map.

For card activation and online banking, visit the HigherOne EMU Eagle One website.

For detailed information about the Eagle OneCard, check out the Eagle OneCard Information brochure.

For Eagle OneCard information pertaining to distance education students only, check out the Distance Learners brochure.
