EMU Student Business Services EBill Help
Accessing Ebill
To access Ebill go to: ebill.emich.edu
Enter EID number on first line. Enter PIN on second line.
*Helpful Hint* If you forget your EMU PIN number, sign into My.emich.edu, click
the Student tab.
When in the Ebill site, you can go to your profile and add an alternate email
address. (If you use a forwarded email address, keep it current!). If you have
a bill, you will receive an email notifying you monthly. Of course, it is your
responsibility to check your email regularly!
Ebill is a secure student financial
center website where you can:
1. View a bill. 18 months of bills are retained
on this site for your review. Click the “EBILL” tab
on top and use the drop down menu to select the monthly bill
you want to
review.
2. Pay a bill. Pay by ACH/online check or
through PayPath pay by Mastercard, American Express or Discover
for a
fee of 2.75%,
with a minimum of $3.00.
*Helpful hint* Make sure you have
deactivated you pop-up blocker if you pay by credit card. Paypath,
the third
party vendor used to process credit card payments, requires
a new window when it “pops up”. With the blocker
activated, PayPath doesn’t activate.
3. View current bill activity. View up to
the minute activity that has happened on your student account.
4. View monthly term activity. View activity
by term.
5. Read current news about billing and due dates.
6. Pay Housing prepayment by ACH or credit
card through Paypath to reserve a room in EMU Housing!
7. Enroll in an EZ Payment Plan. At the bottom
of the homepage, find a list of open payment plans and enroll
in the one that
fits your situation.
8. Allow access to a parent or other third party. Ebill
allows you to sign in and click authorized user and enter a
parent email
address or any other email address. Email notice will then
be sent to parent or other authorized users.
9. View Payments.
Ebill is available online seven days a week, 24 hours a day!
Notification:
Each EMU student is assigned an email address when admitted.
Your email address is in username@emich.edu format. At the time
your bill is loaded into the system you will be sent an email
and be able to access your billing information. You will receive
an email notifying you that your bill is available to view online.
To view it, you need your EID number and your PIN number, both
available at my.emich.edu. You will also receive a receipt via
email for any payments made online.
