Collections Department

The Collections Department assists students with “alternative” payment plans for past due balances.  Payment plans are designed to help students finance their education. They do not automatically allow them to register.  EMU requires student account balances to be $99.00 or less to register for courses.  If you are concerned that you will not be able to pay your bill or if you have not paid your current bill, please contact the Collections Department at (734) 487-3070. 

TransWorld Systems is EMU’s second step when making an attempt to reach students with unpaid accounts.  Before TransWorld Systems is notified, the Collections staff will have tried to contact students several times via both telephone and email.  If you have received a bill from TransWorld Systems, please contact the Collections Department at (734) 487-3070 immediately.
