The Convocation Center is the newest multi-purpose state-of-the-art facility in southeast Michigan, playing host to concerts, trade shows, banquets, family entertainment and EMU athletic events.

For an application to host an event at the Convocation Center or at Pease Auditorium fill out an event application (PDF format, 487k) and return by fax or email.
The Convocation Center at Eastern Michigan University is located on the west campus. Built in 1998 as part of a campus upgrade initiative, the Convocation Center is a 204,316 square-foot structure that features three user-friendly levels including arena, concourse and office. The Convocation Center also boasts versatile seating configurations, which allow clients to maximize space usage. Some of the configurations include:
- Center Stage (9,500)
- Athletic Events (8,800)
- End Stage (7,500; sold at 270 degrees)
The Convocation Center is ideal for concerts, commencements, family entertainment, conferences banquets, trade shows and athletic events. The arena accommodates 20,000 square-feet on the main floor with an additional 18,000 square-feet throughout the entire facility.
