The EMU Ticket Office handles tickets to all events on campus. There are three campus locations to serve your ticketing needs.

The EMU Convocation Center Ticket Office: M-F 10 am to 5 pm (Year round)

Parking is located on the west end of the building off Oakwood.

Student Center Auditorium & Student Center Grand Ballroom
Parking is located on the west side of the building off Oakwood or on the north side off Huron River Drive.

 

EMU Guide for Guest with a Disability

Rynearson Stadium

Parking:

There is accessible parking in the Convocation Center Parking Lots B & C . To park in these spaces, a
properly issued disability parking placard or disabled person car license plate must be displayed. The
disability parking placard or disabled person car license plate are issued by the State and not by Eastern
Michigan University. EMU parking permits may be upgraded after qualifying through the Secretary of
State Office.

Seating:

The Stadium has seating for our patrons with a disability available on the Home /West side of the
stadium in Sections 101 to 103 that are accessible from Gate 1 (off Hewitt Rd.) and in Sections 110 to
114 that are accessible from Gate 2 next to the Convocation Center. Seating for our patrons with a
disability on the Visitors/East side is in Sections 115 to 131 that are accessible from Gate 2 next to the
Convocation Center. All of the accessible seating is in the General Admission areas of the stadium, a
reserved ticket is not required.

Courtesy Shuttle Service:

EMU provides complimentary shuttle service to and from the Rynearson and Convocation Center
parking lots. These shuttles run from an hour prior to the game until 45 minutes after the game. Pick
up / Drop off points are the West Gate # 1, The Convocation Center Gate # 2, Parking Lots B, C, & D
next to the Convocation Center, and Rynearson Lots 1 – 7 across the street from the Stadium.

Will Call:

All Will Call for the Stadium is located inside the Convocation Center - entrance A and is 100%
accessible. Will Call opens 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

Rest Rooms:

All rest rooms in Rynearson Stadium are accessible and the restrooms inside the Atrium of the
Convocation Center are also available and accessible on Home Football game days.

Wheel Chairs:

For the convenience of our patrons with disabilities, wheelchairs are available to check out at the
Convocation Center Ticket Office – located on the south end of Rynearson Stadium. While attending
a Home Football game, fans may check out a wheel chair by providing their name, address, phone
number , exact seat location and State ID. Wheelchairs may be requested at any gate from an Event
Staff member. Wheelchairs will be picked up by an event staff member late in the 4 th Quarter and the
patron escorted back to the Convocation Center for pick up.

Convocation Center

Parking:

There is accessible parking in the Convocation Center Parking Lots B & C. To park in these spaces, a
properly issued disability parking placard must be displayed. The disability parking placard or disabled
person car license plate are issued by the State and not by Eastern Michigan University. EMU parking
permits may be upgraded after qualifying through the Secretary of State Office.

Seating:

The Lower Level, or Concourse Level, of the EMU Convocation Center has accessible seating available
in Sections 101, 102, 105, 106, 108 109, 112, 113, 114, 115, 118, 119, 121, 122, 125 and 126. When
ordering tickets to an event inside the Convocation Center, please specify when accessible seating is
required. Many events in the arena are assigned seating and the accessible areas are often monitored,
requiring special tickets. During many events, such as a graduation ceremony, there is a large demand
for the accessible seating areas and a patron may be limited to only one (1) companion in the accessible
seating areas.

Will Call:

All Will Call for the arena is located inside the Convocation Center Atrium - entrance A and is 100%
accessible. Will Call opens 90 minutes prior to an event.

Rest Rooms:

All rest rooms in the EMU Convocation Center are accessible. The Men’s rooms are located on the East
and West sides of the center and the Women’s rooms are located on the North and South sides of the
center. There is also a Men’s and Women’s room on the North side with a baby changing station.

Nursing Room:

There is a private room available for nursing mothers near Section 109 of the Convocation Center. To
have the room unlocked please see an EMU Event Staff member or ask at the Main Ticket Office in the
Atrium.

Wheel Chairs:

For the convenience of our patrons with disabilities, wheelchairs are available at many events to check
out at the Convocation Center main Ticket Office – located on the North end of the EMU Convocation
Center. While attending an event, patrons may check out a wheel chair by providing their name,
address, phone number , exact seat location and State ID. Wheelchairs may be requested through any
Event Staff member. Wheelchairs will be picked up by an event staff member late in the event and
the patron escorted back to the Convocation Center Atrium for pick up. There are certain events like
graduations, where the Ticket Office will provide escort service for those patrons needing wheelchair
assistance. Due to the high demand for the wheelchairs during these events, the Ticket Office Event

Staff will escort the patron to and from their seating area so that they may use the wheelchair to assist
other patrons.

Courtesy Shuttle Service:

Convocation Center parking lots. These shuttles run from an hour prior to the event until 45 minutes
after. Pick up / Drop off points are the circular drive next to Entrance A and near entrance C. Ask at the
Ticket Office if shuttles are running for a particular event.

Assisted Listening Devices:

Assisted listening devices are available for loan at no charge from the Ticket Office. A driver’s license,
credit card or other acceptable form of photo ID is required as a deposit. ALD’s must be returned within
30 minutes of the end of the event.

Pease Auditorium

Parking:

There is accessible parking in the Pease Auditorium Parking Lot located on the north side of the building.
To park in these spaces, a properly issued DISABILITY PARKING PLACARD must be displayed.

Entrance:

There is a wheelchair ramp on the North side of Pease Auditorium for patrons who cannot take the
steps at the front entrance to the auditorium. At many events there will be an usher inside that door to
assist patrons with finding open seats within the accessible areas. There is an elevator at this entrance
that will take accessible patrons to the balcony. Check with the Ticket Office upon arrival at the
auditorium for assistance if this entrance is locked.

Seating:

There are accessible seating areas on both the main floor in Row W and in the balcony Row MM of
Pease Auditorium. Most of the events at Pease do not require special tickets for access to these areas
however please ask when ordering tickets.

Elevator:

There is an elevator in the north corridor near the wheelchair ramp that will transport patrons up to the
accessible areas of the balcony. Please see an Event Staff member for assistance.

Will Call:

The will call area at Pease Auditorium is located in the front lobby. If you are entering from the north
side wheelchair door, please ask the usher for assistance in retrieving your will call tickets.

Rest Rooms:

Accessible restrooms are located on both the main floor and balcony level. The men’s rooms are
located on the south side and the women’s restrooms are located on the north side of the building just
off the main auditorium through a side hallway.

out at the Pease Auditorium Ticket Office – located on the south end of the lobby. While attending
an event, patrons may check out a wheel chair by providing their name, address, phone number ,
exact seat location and State ID. Wheelchairs may be requested through any Event Staff member.
Wheelchairs will be picked up by an event staff member late in the event and the patron escorted back
to the Accessible Entrance on the north end for pick up.

Assisted Listening Devices:

Assisted listening devices are available for loan at no charge from the Ticket Office. A driver’s license,
credit card or other acceptable form of photo ID is required as a deposit. ALD’s must be returned within
30 minutes of the end of the event.

Quirk and Sponberg Theatres

Parking:

There is accessible parking in the Alexander Guest Parking Lot located on the corner of Jarvis and Lowell
east of the building. To park in these spaces, a properly issued DISABILITY PARKING PLACARD must be
displayed. A circular drive in front of the theatre entrance may be used to drop off patrons unable to
walk from the Alexander Guest parking lot.

Will Call:

The will call area at the Quirk & Sponberg Theatre is located in the front lobby near the north entrance .

Seating:

There are accessible seats available in Row P of Quirk Theatre and in Row A of the Sponberg Theatre.
Most of the events at these two venues require special tickets for access to these areas, please request
accessible seats when ordering tickets.

Elevator:

There is an elevator in the Lobby area next to the Ticket Office that will transport patrons up to the
Quirk Theatre entrance. Please see the House manager for assistance.

Rest Rooms:

Accessible restrooms for both Theatres are located on entrance level.

Assisted Listening Devices:

Assisted listening devices are available for loan at no charge, please see the House Manager to arrange
for the use of these devices. ALD’s must be returned within 30 minutes of the end of the event.

Student Center Auditorium & Grand Ballroom

Parking:

Parking is available adjacent to the Student Center, in the Student Center Lot, located off of Oakwood
Street. The first 30 minutes in the lot are free. Each additional hour after that is $1, with a maximum
daily charge of $8. The Student Center is fully accessible from all entrances and between all levels.

Will Call:

The Will Call area for both the Grand Ballroom and the Student Center Auditorium is located on the first
floor at the Ticket Office, next to the elevator.

Elevator:

There is an elevator next to the Ticket Office providing access to the 2 nd floor accessible seat areas of the
auditorium.

Seating:

Accessible seating in the Student Center Auditorium is located in Row A off the first floor entrance or
in Row N off the second floor entrance. Please be sure to request accessible seats when ordering your
tickets as some events in this space are assigned seating. In the Grand Ballroom all seats are accessible.

Rest Rooms:

Accessible restrooms for both spaces are located on each level of the building.

Assisted Listening Devices:

Assistive hearing services are available in all Student Center meeting spaces. Please contact the Event
Planning Office for more information.

How To Order Tickets

1. ONLINE / 24 hours a day / 7 Days a week / 365 Days a Year
Order your tickets whenever you want at www.emutix.com
Select either Season Tickets (Athletic Events only) or Single Event Tickets. Events are listed by category or
chronologically. Select the Buy Now box under the Status Column. Enter the number of tickets desired,
select the performance if more than one is listed and hit continue. Choose the price level & discount
(if discount options are available) and hit continue. Choose a delivery method and add to cart. Check
the Order Summary to ensure the accuracy of your order. Check ALL charges and proceed to fill in your
patron and credit card information. A per ticket fee and a per order fee will be applied to you order. If
anything is incorrect hit Cancel. Remember to hit FINALIZE ORDER if everything is correct. If everything
has been entered correctly and your order has been processed you will receive a confirmation email.
Save your confirmation number to help track your order.

Tell the operator which event and how many tickets you would like to purchase. Give them your seating
preferences, if any, and your patron information. Patron information includes name on credit card being
used for purchase, credit card billing address, shipping address if different, credit card number, expiration
date and security code. Also provide a valid email address or phone number for notification purposes in
case of event cancellation or a change in the dates and times of the event. Ask the operator to repeat
your order to ensure accuracy. Please note a $4.00 per order fee will be charged to ALL phone orders.

 

3. IN PERSON / Visit one of our three campus locations during regular business hours and get your tickets at
cost with no additional fees.

4. BY MAIL / Please state in writing the Title, Date and Time of the Event, the price level and number of
tickets desired. Also include the preferred delivery method (return Mail include a valid mailing address,
Will Call please state the name tickets are to be held under if different than yours.) Calculate the cost
per ticket multiplied by the number of tickets and include an additional $4.00 processing fee. Payment
by mail can be made by check or credit card. If paying by check, the check MUST arrive at least 14 days
in advance of Event date. If paying by credit card please include name on credit card being used for
purchase, credit card billing address, shipping address if different, credit card number, expiration date and
security code. Also provide a valid email address or phone number for notification purposes. Allow 7 to
10 days for delivery by mail after order has been processed.
