All applicants for admission to the master's degree or graduate certificate in quality management must meet the admission requirements of EMU’s Graduate School.
- Have successfully completed a four-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Possess a minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.70.
- Please visit the Graduate School website for the complete requirements, instructions and deadlines.
- If you are an international student, follow these guidelines.
Conditional admission is for those who do not meet minimum criterion for admissions requirements. There are different types of conditional admission. The final determination is made by the Graduate School.
For instance, if you do not meet the minimum academic admission requirements, you may still be admitted conditionally to the program. After the Graduate School grants you conditional admission, you will consult with a quality management program advisor to create a 12 credit probationary program of quality management graduate coursework. You must then earn at least a B (3.0/4.0) in each of these courses. Following admission, these courses would be applied to your master's in quality management degree program of studies. Coursework taken in the graduate quality management certificate program may be later applied to the master's in quality management degree.
