The Doctor of Philosophy in Technology program in COT provides an advanced program of study with strong focus on the research aspects of technology related fields. The program prepares graduates for increased responsibility in a variety of settings such as high-level management positions in industry and government, faculty careers in higher education, and occupations in policy analysis and research.

The program consists of at least 59 credit hours of course work; up to 12 credits may be approved for credit from prior graduate-level course work. Students may attend part-time or full-time and are allowed up to seven years to complete the degree.
