Personal Statement

A personal statement is required to complete the application to the Ph.D. in Technology program. It should be four pages or less in length, and it should include the following information:

• Explain your academic and professional background and your desire for further education as it relates to your overall career goals and objectives.
• Explain how your background matches one of the concentrations available in the College of Technology.
• Include a description of two or three possible research topics you might want to investigate for your dissertation. Why are these topics of interest to you?
