Fashion Forum

Fashion Forum is a student organization that is run by students within the Apparel, Textiles and Merchandising Department. Membership is open to anyone with a love for fashion, regardless of their major. The main objective of the organization is to enlighten the campus and surrounding community about the department and what it has to offer. This is achieved through programs, fundraisers and partial sponsorship of the annual fashion show.

1st Annual Mixer

In winter 2007, Fashion Forum coordinated their first mixer. The event highlighted the work and designs of the students through display and video presentations. It also included a special invited guest, bridal dress designer Kate Bennett; designer bag raffles; and a design competition using mini size dress forms that were made by the group. The event was enjoyed by all who came.
