Admission Requirements

All applicants for admission to the MS in Quality Management degree must:  
1. Meet degree admission requirements of EMU’s Graduate School  

2. Have successfully completed a four-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning  

3. Possess a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 2.50  

4. Must, if an international student, score at least 550 on the TOEFL or 85 on the MELAB before starting the graduate degree program

Conditional Admission  

Students who do not meet the minimum academic admission requirements may be admitted conditionally to the MS in Quality Management degree program. In these cases, students must consult with a Quality Management program advisor to create a 12 credit-hour probationary program of Quality Management graduate coursework. The student must then earn at least a B (3.0) in each of these courses. Following admission, these courses would be applied to the MS in Quality Management degree program of studies.

All applicants for admission into the Quality Management Certificate program must:

1. Meet the graduate admission requirements of EMU’s Graduate School  

2. Possess a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5  

3. Have successfully completed an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning  

4. If an international student, score at least 550 on the TOEFL or 85 on the MELAB before starting the program  

Coursework taken in the graduate Quality Management certificate program may be later applied to the Master of Science in Quality Management degree program.
