Program Description
| Graduates of the Technology Education (TEDU) program can expect to receive multiple job offers with the Michigan Department of Education K-12 Technology and Design Education Provisional Certificate that program graduates are qualified to receive. Teachers of Technology Education are certified to teach exciting and rewarding technology content in grades K-12. This program and certification requires an accompanying teachable minor. A vocational minor is recommended for those students who have courses and work experience in a specific occupational field. Examples of Technology Education areas of study include: the impacts of current and emerging technologies employed in communication, transportation, power/energy, manufacturing, bio-technology, construction, robotics, green technologies, simulation, engineering, and lean systems. |
