The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), has granted accreditation for the bachelor's degree in the MET program, which is housed in the School of Engineering Technology. ABET accreditation will not only benefit future graduates, but also is retroactive for EMU students who graduated from the MET program within the last two years.
"This accreditation ensures our program has met the rigorous standards necessary to produce graduates who are ready to enter their chosen professions," said Wade Tornquist, interim dean of the College of Technology.
