Welcome to the Eagle Flight Centre!

Cleared for Takeoff

Earn your wings with a degree from Eastern Michigan University in Aviation Flight Technology or Aviation Management. In addition to obtaining a well-rounded foundation in general studies, you will learn about aerodynamics, crew resource management, industry regulations, flight operations, advanced aircraft systems, and aviation safety.

EMU's Aviation Program Offers a Bachelor of Science degree in  Aviation Flight Technology at Eagle Flight Centre located at Willow Run Airport, and Aviation Management. The program has expanded to offer Dispatch Certification for those who wish to add on to their aviation experiences and knowledge base.

EMU Aviation offers both FAA Part 61 and FAA Part 141 certified flight training programs at the Eagle Flight Centre, the nation’s first Cessna Collegiate Flight Center.

Fly Amongst the Eagles

Flight training is conducted at Eagle Flight Centre located at the historic Willow Run Airport, just a ten-minute drive from EMU’s main campus. Our fleet is comprised of several new Cessna 172SP Skyhawks, two complex Cessna 172RGs, and a multi-engine Piper Seminole. Our Cessna Skyhawk aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art Garmin G1000 glass cockpit avionics.

Fly without Flyin’

We train our students in the advanced FRASCA Mentor simulator, reducing the cost of flight training allowing students to learn emergency situations and system logic in a safe, and reliable environment.

Fly with Confidence

Our fleet is well-maintained by an award-winning Cessna service facility. To ensure students are trained in handling current equipment, we replace the Cessna Skyhawk planes every few years.

The Sky’s the Limit

Only at Eagle Flight Centre will you enjoy the freedom to explore the region by air; students are allowed to rent Eagle Flight Centre’s aircraft outside of class, allowing you to explore your horizons.

Live on the Edge

Earn your certificates by flying across the country. Eagle Flight Centre offers a unique opportunity for our students through “Venture Learning.” These cross-country flight training trips have students traveling to Venice, Florida, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and beyond. This gives students the experience of a lifetime flying extended routes into different airfields through various flight conditions.

Community Leaner

Eagle Flight Centre offers personalized study to non-enrolled individuals with specific flight training needs through our community learner program. Contact us for more information.
