PROGRAM facts AND HISTORY
The Hotel and Restaurant Industry is rapidly expanding, as are its career opportunities. In fact, requests for graduates currently exceed our program's output. Employment of hotel managers and assistants as well as restaurant and food service managers is projected to increase faster than the average for all occupations through the year 2015.
There are several professional networking opportunities available to students. These include the Hospitality Management Student Association, the Club Managers Association of America, which schedules guest speakers from the industry and sponsors field trips each May, to the National Restaurant Association Trade Show in Chicago, IL and each November to the International Hotel, Motel and Restaurant show in New York City, NY
