This unique undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree program provides many opportunities for a student transferring from a community college with a technical degree. This program of study brings together technical and academic fields and will provide additional opportunities for graduates in mid-management positions or for advancement within existing careers. The Technology Management core is applicable to a broad variety of two-year technical degree programs, ranging from business and health-oriented programs of study to criminal justice, environmental technology and computer service technician programs. Technology-based corporations increasingly need a capacity for raid innovation in strategies, products, processes and services distinct from traditional high-volume mass production of service companies of the past decades. Managers of technology, therefore, need to acquire the knowledge and skills that will enable them to compete effectively in world markets. The core courses in the Technology Management program will provide the student with the necessary skills and knowledge to be an effective technology manager.
