Areas of Expertise

The CPRD has more than 20 engineering and technical faculty, who are experts in our respective fields, ready to help you. The CPRD staff are experts in teamwork and applying technologies. We have hands-on experience in working with computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM), plastics, foundry and metal forming, machining and pattern making and metrology. We can create prototypes using a wide range of materials. We can provide assistance with acquiring patents on new products and concepts. Our project teams of clients, students and staff get results. Our students are bright and enthusiastic undergraduate and graduate students from the College of Technology. Their new ideas and high energy levels can contribute to the success of any project.

The Center offers a congenial atmosphere in which business people are free to establish special support systems and networks. We are known for our ability to couple the scientific and technical capabilities with the individualized practical needs of a manufacturer. We specialize in solving manufacturing problems.
