Whether you need to manufacture a limited number of plastic parts
or develop a prototype product, the CPRD project teams make the
process simple and easy.
Providing objective advice, the Center offers a congenial atmosphere
in which business people are free to establish special support systems
and networks. It is noted for its ability to couple the scientific
and technical capabilities with the individualized practical needs
of a manufacturer or inventor. It’s as easy as one, two, three.
The first step in the process is for you to put your project into
focus by gathering and organizing your project’s concepts, requirements
and details. The information can be in the form of hand written
notes or sketches.
The second step is to contact the Center and schedule a time to
meet with a CPRD staff member to discuss your project. Our CPRD
staff can quickly determine the resources you will need and where
to find them. If our facilities and equipment are not a good match,
we probably know where to direct you to go through our network of
resources.
The third step is to work with a CPRD project team on your project.
The CPRD staff will assemble a project team of faculty and students
to work with you to complete your project.
