Objectives

The coating industry is highly raw-material intensive. Products are formulated using a wide range of raw materials to meet the customers’ demanding requirements of performance, applications, regulations and cost. New raw materials are continuously developed and offered by the suppliers. It becomes increasingly important for the personnel engaged in coatings and related industries to clearly understand and appreciate the role of these raw materials. The primary objective of this course is to provide basic understanding and knowledge on coating raw materials that would help the personnel at various levels in the organization in adding value to their job functions.

Who should attend

This course is designed for personnel engaged in coatings and related industries with their job functions in product development, application, purchase, marketing, customer support, etc. Entry-level chemists in technical/research and in QA area will also especially benefit.

The fee for the 1-day course is $650 which covers a course-book, lunch each day and all class supplies. Lodging and other meals are not included. A certificate of participation is presented to each registrant.

Withdrawal/Cancellation policy: any cancellation made after the registration deadline is subject to a $300 nonrefundable deposit fee.Cancellations must be made in writing. No cancellation after the course begins. You may, however, send a substitute in your place.

We are not responsible for expenses incurred if a course has to be cancelled. A course cancellation decision, due to insufficient registrations, will bemade no later than two weeks prior to the course start date.
