Biography:
Teaching at Eastern Michigan University since 1968. Professional experience in community mediation, employee organization leadership and academic governance.

Service activities include a wide range of department, college and university wide committees.
Teaching Interests:
Conflict Resolution and Management, Negotiation Skills, Listening Behavior, and Assertive Communication.
Awards:
American Association of University Professors: Collective Bargaining Congress, Marilyn Sternberg Award for Service, Distinguished Faculty Award for Service and the Michigan Association of Governing Boards Teaching Excellence Award.
