Teaching at Eastern Michigan University since 1996. Professional experience includes manuscript reviewer for the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, the Journal of Popular Communication, and the International Communication Association.
Service activities include: Board member of the Coalition for Adoption Rights Equality (CARE) and EMU's LGBT Resource Center.
