| Biography:

|
Proforessor Quiel has been the director of Forensics at Eastern for many years. Under his guidance and leadership, EMU's forensic team has consistently been a national force and one of the most respected forensic programs.

| Teaching interests include argumentation and debate, organizational communication, rhetorical criticism and forensics. |

| Scholarly/Creative Activity:

| Prof. Quiel has published the article "One Day, One Trial: Advocacy for Reform of our Jury System," in "Winning Orations," and presented "A Meta-biologic Perspective Toward Human Hegemony" at the the Central States Speech Association Conference. |
