Biography:
Teaching at Eastern Michigan University since 1988. Teaching in higher education since 1985.

Service activities include faculty advisor to the Future Professional Communicators and a leadership role in Freshman orientation. In the area of Academic Service Learning, Dr. Stacey is a nationally-recognized expert and has created a service learning model that serves as an international exemplar of academic service learning programs.
 
Recent Publications:
Her articles have appeared extensively in the Michigan Journal of Community Service, Communication Monograph, Association of Higher Education Series and she was editor of the Michigan Association of Speech Communication.

Teaching Interests:
Teaching interests include interviewing as communication, family communication, and research in speech communication.
