Biography:
Teaching at Eastern Michigan University since 1992.

Directing assignments at EMU include: Evita, Into the Woods, Company, Falsettos, The House of Blue Leaves, Cabaret.

Professional experience includes numerous directing and acting credits.
Courses:
Acting, Musical Theatre, Play Direction and frequently teaches continuing education classes in opera history and appreciation.
Serves as an advisor.
Teaches classes for Summerquest.
Research Interests:
Research interests focus on avant-garde directing, contemporary musical theatre, opera as drama and theatre, interdisciplinary relationship among the performing arts, and neutral mask as a method of actor training.
