TV Lab, or CTAA 165-465, is one of the most popular outlets for campus-wide distribution of student video production. It is a focused video production experience designed for the student who has completed the fundamental production classes in the Electronic Media and Film Studies major. Keith Damron has turned the Lab into a production experience that has showcased some of the finest student and faculty talent. Many of the Lab productions are cablecast on Cable 10 within Eastern Michigan University. TV Lab is offered at different times in both fall and wWinter semesters.


WQBR is a student-run radio station housed in the lower level of the Halle Library. WQBR broadcasts on AM 610 and provides the audio for campus Cable Channel 10 from 2pm to midnight. The radio station uses student talent to provide on-air personalities, programmers and sales personnel.You can volunteer to work at WQBR or use the radio station in conjunction with several CMTA lab offerings. WQBR embraces digital broadcasting technology to make the most out of the college radio experience for the interested CMTA student.
