 Graduate Programs Drama/Theatre for the Young - Master of Fine Arts Offers a theatre curriculum and production schedule that prepare undergraduates for careers in education, theatre production, arts management and drama theatre for the young. The Theatre and Educational Drama program offers graduate training in theatre, educational theatre and arts management. The Drama/Theatre for the Young Program was founded in 1962 to provide students with integrated theoretical and experiential knowledge of human development as it is manifested in natural play, process drama and theatre. To that end, presenting theatre for intergenerationa1 audiences and in school and community settings is central to our mission. Equally important is a commitment to the power of drama as an interdisciplinary educational medium appropriate for creative teaching and learning in a wide range of settings.
