Sara Randazzo has a rich and varied career in dance including performing, choreographing, directing, producing and teaching. She received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University while performing in the university dance company, local dance companies and musical theater productions. Since graduating in 1981 Sara has continued her training in Ballet, obtaining her Cecchetti teaching certificate for grades I-III. She is also certified in STOTT Pilates Matwork. She has continued her Jazz and Tap training in Chicago, and New York studying with many great teachers including Brenda Bufalino, Sam Weber , Billy Siegenfeld (Jump Rhythm Jazz Technique) Barbara Duffy, Diane Walker and Ed Kresley (Broadway Jazz). Sara is currently director and founder of Sole Full of Rhythm Student and Professional Tap Ensemble. The ensemble tours schools, performs at festivals and produces annual Jazz concerts with live musicians. Sara directs the Lowell Street Boys, an all boys dance company that performs all types of dance and tours as a guest company to many local performances. Sara has choreographed for several studios and dance companies including the Performing Arts Dance Theatre in Howell, Company Dance Traverse in Traverse City, Dance Arts of Chelsea, and the Ypsilanti Area Dancers. She spent the 2002-2003 academic year developing a Movement Physical Education program for the Ypsilanti Public School District. She also serves as faculty in the Department of Music and Dance at Eastern Michigan University, and teaches tap at Dance Arts of Chelsea and Glenn's School of Dance. Sara is a partner of Randazzo Dance and is the Director of the Tap and Jazz program. Sara currently teaches Tap, Jazz and Pilates for Randazzo Dance as well as ballet performances for the Ypsilanti Area Dancers.
