Changing Dialup Settings

DIALUP AUTHENTICATION CHANGEOVER On July 14, 2003, your EMU telephone connection from home will change. If you are using your old online.emich login and password to connect to the Internet through EMU and Merit, you must change this to your my.emich account. On July 14, your my.emich account will be the only way you can authenticate your dialup session and connect to the Internet through EMU and Merit. This Web site contains detailed instructions for how to change an existing dialup connection so that it uses your newer my.emich account information and the new EMU Web server DNS entries. These instructions do not apply to you if you are using a cable modem or another Internet service such as AOL or Earthlink to connect to the Internet. Activating Your my.emich Account If you have not yet activated your my.emich account, please go to my.emich.edu and single-click on "How do I get my user name and password?"
