      Traditional Plans

Traditional meal plans provide a number of meals per day and week on an ongoing basis throughout the semester. These plans are used to purchase meals at The Commons, Eastern Eateries, CrossRoads MarketPlace, the Student Center and a multitude of other dining facilities located across campus.

Options:
  • Platinum 18
    • Any 3 meals each day, at any time during meal plan location hours, Monday through Friday, 2 meals on Saturday and 1 meal on Sunday.
    • $75 E-Dollars per semester to be used at any EMU Dining Service operated dining location (food only).
    • 2 guest meal passes per semester to be used at any EMU Dining Service operated dining location.
  • Gold 13
    • Any 2 meals each day, at any time during meal plan location hours, Monday through Saturday, and 1 meal on Sunday.
    • $150 E-Dollars per semester to be used at any EMU Dining Service operated dining location.
    • 4 guest meal passes per semester to be used at any EMU Dining Service operated dining location.
  • Silver 8
    • Any 8 meals at any time of the day during meal plan location hours Monday through Sunday.
    • $250 E-Dollars per semester to be used at any EMU Dining Service operated dining location.
    • 8 guest meal passes per semester to be used at any EMU Dining Service operated dining locations.

Incoming Freshmen are required to select a Traditional Meal Plan Membership that best matches his or her lifestyle.

      E-Dollars

Traditional plans offer E-Dollars which are accepted as payment for services at any of the EMU Dining Service facilities.

      Rates/Terms
      Flex Plans
  • The flex plans are debit account style accounts good for one semester. Funds do not roll over.
  • The flex plans have an administrative fee. An amount equal to 25% of the cost of a flex plan is taken to cover the overhead costs of providing the service and is not included in the amount that can be spent using the flex plan during the semester.
  • For students to elect this plan, they must be an upperclassman or returning residence hall student who lived in the EMU residence halls during the previous academic school year or a student with one year or more of transfer credit.
      Apartment/Village

In addition to the plans above, Apartment and Village Residents may also purchase the Apartments Flex plan. This flex plan offers a low starting balance and is accepted at any EMU Dining Service operated dining location. This flex plan is not charged an administrative fee.

      Eagle Express

Eagle Express is a Debit Account that uses money you have deposited on your Eagle OneCard to be used for purchases on items such as food, books and supplies. When you use your Eagle Express Debit Account at EMU Dining Service locations you will be given a 5% discount on purchases.

Eagle Express is a declining balance plan, similar to the flex plans above but with no administrative fee. Students living in the Residence Halls are required to select a meal plan from the traditional and flex plans above. Eagle Express is an optional supplement but can not take the place of a traditional or flex plan.

      Eagle One Card

Your campus ID or as it is called your Eagle One Card contains your plan information and is used at campus Dining locations to make purchases using these plans.
