Advising Service and Information

The Department of Economics provides help and guidance to students through a variety of activities. It provides academic advising, retention support and academic services. Each of these is concerned with the student's total welfare. The department’s Undergraduate Advising Coordinator oversees the overall advising activities for students majoring or minor in one of the economic programs. In addition, other faculty advise students enrolled in the program.

Department Graduate Advising
Advising Service and Information

The Department of Economics provides help and guidance to students through a variety of activities. It provides academic advising, retention support and academic services. Each of these is concerned with the student's total welfare. The department’s Graduate Coordinator oversees the overall advising activities for students enrolled in one of the graduate economic programs. In addition, each student is assigned to a Professor who is their advisor. Information for students who: (a) have a bachelor's degree and want a Master's degree, (b) want a graduate certificate (c) want self-improvement (d) want Teacher Certification, or (e) need additional Endorsement are available by contacting Dr. John Edgren.
