Despite the weather, we ran another successful Rubber Duck Race this past August! As a result of the funds raised through the duck race, we have already given away scholarships to help current ElderQuest members with their academic pursuits. A special thanks goes out to the volunteers who helped make this event a success, including the Ypsilanti Kiwanis Club; the EMU Honors College; Miller, Canfield, Paddock, and Stone; the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity; and individuals such as Hedy Ricciardo, Steve Wild, Vicki Whitlock, and Rachel Dewees. Thanks to all others who provided prizes and in kind services.
