EMU announces new e-mail and calendaring system

The EMU E-mail Selection Committee has completed its work and released its final report.

After thoroughly considering several options, the committee recommended that EMU adopt the Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) or MeritMail, which will be hosted, managed and supported by Merit Network, Inc.

The SOC approved the recommendation May 5. The new e-mail and calendaring system is expected to be deployed by Fall 2008.
