Spend a few days with Eugene Jerome, an aspiring young writer
surviving adolescence by fantasizing about girls, literary fame
and the national pastime. Angst abounds in the Jerome family
home and Eugene is there to write all down and serve it up with
his own brand of wit and wry humor.
Biloxi Blues

Eugene Jerome is at it again, this time recording the events
that transpire within his regimen boot camp in Biloxi, Mississippi.
It is 1943 and the group is young, naïve and most have never
left their hometowns. Together though, Eugene and the other recruits
learn about the wide world around them, led by an eccentric and
unpredictable drill sergeant. But a night with a pro and the
first love of Eugene’s life makes it all worthwhile. Throughout
this rich comedy classic, Eugene and his fellow recruits learn
about life, love and laughter.
Broadway Bound

The final piece in Neil Simon’s autobiographical trilogy,
Broadway Bound takes us back to the Jerome house in Brighton
Beach. It is now 1949 and Eugene and Stanley are back from the
military. The brothers are desperately determined to break into
comedy writing for radio. However, writers block ensues when
the young scribes can no longer concentrate due to the chaotic
goings-on perpetuating from the Jerome household. It seems that
love is everywhere and nowhere in this comedy classic full of
tears, laughter and insight.
The Big Friendly Giant

Become lost in a magical world of warmth and whimsical humor
as we are whisked away to Giant Country. Sophie, a young orphan,
finds herself swept way to this strange land by a giant known
as the Big Friendly Giant. The two form an unlikely friendship
and gain the confidence they need to stop the disgusting eating
habits of other giants, like Fleshlumpeaters, Gizzardgulpers
and Bonecrunchers. Even the Army, the Air Force and the Queen
of England join in to help. Adapted from Roald Dahl’s classic
story, this fantasy will please one and all, from the very small,
to the very tall.
The Miser

Harpagon, a crotchety old miser living in a dilapidated mansion,
is convinced that his children are plotting to steal his precious
money and demands that they marry for profit above love. A double
love intrigue is interrupted by the revelation that Harpagon’s
buried treasure has been stolen. With all romances off, confusion
reigns until fate intervenes, reuniting all the lovers.

Bankruptcy forces a small town’s hated mayor, Cora Hoover
Hooper, to take a “miracle.” The water-from-a-rock
brings in a mad rush of tourists, including the inmates from
the local asylum known as The Cookie Jar. Madness ensues when
Doctor Hapgood attempts to separate the “cookies” from
the “sane.” This cult classic challenges the preconceptions
of what musical theatre should be asking, are we all insane or
is it just our leaders?
