The Community Engagement Council (CEC), is an interdisciplinary team of faculty, staff, students, and community members that meets biannually, established to promote community engagement activites on EMU's campus.
The mission of the Community Engagement Council is to keep EMU informed about current community outreach efforts accomphished by the University.
The CEC is used as a communication outlet to share resources, joint initiatives and collaborative grants that will help address both the needs of the local community as well as cross-facilitate internal partnerships within the University
