| Biography:
|
Professor Arrington teaches in the areas of literature, composition, and the teaching of writing. He has published extensively in the area of composition and the teaching of writing.
His contribution to the English department, and the Eastern community at large, is invaluable. He is currently the Communications Director for EMU-AAUP. In recent years, he has served as the Media Spokesperson for EMU's AAUP Chapter (1996, 1999-2000,) served as an Alternate Member for the Bargaining Council during the 1999-2000 year and was Director of Teaching Assistants/Freshman Composition. He was also a member of the Curriculum Committee and Chair of the Freshman Writing Committee.
Professor Arrington is equally active in the teaching and writing professions. He is currently a member of the American Association of University Professors, as well as the National Council of Teachers of English. |
