After following the application guidelines on the application and admission page, please follow the priority deadlines detailed below to submit your application and corresponding materials. Please note that these are only recommended deadlines and are subject to change. If you apply after these deadlines, you may not be able to enroll in all of the classes you wish to take because class size is limited. Also, the Creative Writing program only admits students for the fall semester and has a definitive February 15 deadline for applications.

Most graduate assistants are hired in the winter for fall positions, and applications for those positions are due February 15. For more information on applying for a graduate assistantship, please review the financial aid page.
