The University Writing Center (UWC) provides writing support through multiple means to all members of the EMU community—undergraduate and graduate students, international students, post-baccalaureate students, and faculty.
Students and faculty can receive one-on-one support by visiting the main UWC location in 115 Halle Library. One-on-one support is also available in the Academic Projects Center (APC) in 116 Halle Library Mondays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The UWC also has satellite locations in Marshall, Owen, Porter, Pray-Harrold, and Sill (as of Fall 2012).
Additionally, writing support provided electronically is available to students in select programs. Click here to see if your program is included and to access the form for this service.
Writing workshops are also available to the general student population and to particular classes and groups. See below to access workshop information and registration pages.
