Intensive English Program (IEP) and conditionally admitted students must take the COMPASS placement test when they first arrive. ESL advisers consider the placement test scores, as well as the writing sample and oral interview to place students in the appropriate level. Students usually are registered for classes the same day they are placed. ESL advisers email placement test and orientation information to students when they are admitted.
