Independent Learning
Through EMU's Independent Learning program, you can earn credit without going to a class. Your course work is assigned and submitted through EMU–Online's portal. After enrolling, you have six months to complete your course. Most courses require a proctored final exam.

Keep in mind: you have seven days to drop your IL class to get a full refund. So check out your course shell right away to make the decision if IL is for you. Students with good self-discipline do well in IL courses.
