Explore fashion capital New York City with the apparel, textiles and merchandising program. We'll be staying in the heart of the fashion industry, touring designer showrooms, wholesale markets and fashion magazines. This a a wonderful opportunity to see how fashion is created first hand.

Lodging
You'll stay at the Hilton Garden Inn New York/Chelsea. Accommodations are chosen for proximity to key sites on the itinerary. Rooms are based on multiple occupancies with other students. Any special room requests must be made at the time you register along with your registration documents.

Program Fee: $1500 (2014) plus tuition and fees. If you're using financial aid, additional assistance may be available for those who qualify. Contact financial aid.
Includes:

  • Roundtrip airfare on a regular, scheduled air carrier to and from Detroit Metro Airport 
  • Lodging 
  • Local transportation by bus for airport transfers and a prepaid metrocard for daily excursions
  • Venue admission for all required industry appointments

Exclusions:

  • EMU tuition and fees
  • Textbooks (if applicable)
  • Personal expenditures
  • Transportation charges resulting from deviation from printed itinerary.

This trip begins and ends at Detroit Metro. You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the airport.
