• Daryl L. Barton Continuing Education Scholarship
  (For students residing in the Metropolitan Detroit area including: Wayne, Macomb and Oakland Counties).
• Continuing Education Scholarship
• Dahl/Gaymer Continuing Education Scholarship
• Mary Sue Marz Continuing Education Scholarship
• Marz Continuing Education Scholarship for R.N. to B.S.N.
  (For R.N. undergraduate students pursuing their Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.)
• Waidner–Silverman Scholarship
  (For students enrolled in the online coordinated program in dietetics. A minimum GPA of 2.75 or better is required.)

Application Criteria 

2014 Winter Semester 
One scholarship in the amount of $500 will be awarded. Qualified undergraduate and graduate students may apply. The Waidner-Silverman Scholarship has four recipients. 

Undergraduate Applicant Requirements
A minimum G.P.A. of 2.5 at EMU and demonstrated financial need. You must be admitted to the University and admitted and enrolled in one of the programs offered through Extended Programs.

Graduate Applicant Requirements
A minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 at EMU and demonstrated financial need. You must be admitted to the University and admitted and enrolled in one of the programs offered through Extended Programs.

Application Deadline: November 1, 2013.
The scholarship recipients will be notified by December 1, 2013.

• Complete the application form [PDF]
• Submit a narrative (One to two pages (typed or clearly written) on your educational and career goals with a statement of financial need. Include any other information you would like reviewed by the scholarship committee.)
• Submit two letters of recommendation (One from a college faculty member in the area of your program of study and one from a non-family member.)
