Interested in proposing a study abroad course? We decide what programs to sponsor with the assistance of our Study Abroad Advisory Committee. We are accepting proposals until April 1, 2017 for faculty-led programs to be held in 2018.
To propose a new study abroad program at EMU, use the new program proposal form.
To offer a program previously-approved within the last two years again, use the program renewal proposal form.
All completed renewal and new proposal forms should be approved by the department and college and then sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
EMU doesn't permit study abroad programs to be held in countries currently on the State Department Travel Warning or Alert list unless special permission is granted by the Division of Academic and Student Affairs and the Office of Risk Management. Permission from both offices must be obtained and included when submitting your proposal. To see the current travel warnings, visit travel.state.gov.
