Competition deadline: August 1st
See: www.cies.org to find your grant opportunity
The Fulbright Scholar Program offers teaching, research, or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries for the 2017-2018 academic year. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty and administrators as well as for professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others. In addition to the several new program models designed to meet the changing needs of U.S. academics and professionals, Fulbright will be offering more opportunities for multi-country grants through enhanced global and regional awards.
The workshop will cover the following areas of information:
- Overview of Fulbright grant opportunities
- The chance to speak directly with former grantees about their experiences
- The chance to speak directly with a representative (via teleconference) from the CIES office in Washington D.C.
- Information by Betsy Morgan on taking leave from EMU, benefits, etc, while on a Fulbright
