Winter 2018 Seminar: We're All in this Together: Cross-Curricular Perspectives on Climate Change as a Human Challenge
This seminar will provide faculty with the tools and resources to engage their students in discussions and activities about the environmental and societal impacts of climate change. Discussion topics include: public health, economic and societal consequences, issues surrounding climate change, and examine how climate change is affecting the planet around us.
This seminar will consist of five, one and a half hour meetings over the course of the Winter 2018 semester. Participants will:
- leave with a better understanding of where discussion on climate change can fit into their curriculum, regardless of their are of expertise.
- complete a unit lesson plan, syllabus, or action plan that they can take with them into the classroom or community.
All sessions will be held from 10:00am-11:30am in room 109B Halle Library.
