Academic Service Learning Fellows
Faculty Fellows learn the theories, implementation, and assessment of academic service-learning and how to integrate this methodology into one of their courses in the semester. They leave the seminar with a revised syllabus, community partners, and membership in a university-wide academic service-learning network.
Applications are sent to all full-time, tenure-track faculty. Faculty apply to the Office of Academic Service-Learning. The office reviews the applications and selects six faculty participants. These six selected faculty are released quarter-time to participate in a semester-long, weekly seminar. Seminars are held each Fall and Winter semester.
