Important Scholarship Announcement

There has been a recent flood of emails going to EMU faculty, staff and students from “DegreedUP.com” advertising a “cash scholarship”.  This organization requires a $5.00 payment with the scholarship application OR the option to apply for the scholarship by signing up for a “trial pay for an eBook”.  We want to remind you that you should never pay to apply or feel obligated to order any product to be considered for a scholarship.  Just like the FAFSA, a scholarship application should always be free. If an organization requires payment, you should be concerned about the legitimacy of the organization.
