checklist has been designed as a resource for you to track the
progress of your scholarships and financial aid. By following
the checklist, you can prevent unnecessary delays and/or possible

Your financial aid information is confidential
but there may be times when you will want someone-other than yourself-to
access information about your financial aid package. This form
authorizes the Office of Financial Aid to release your financial
aid information to persons you specify. (This includes your parents!)
This form must be filed every year.

The Enrollment Notification Form notifies the Office of Financial
Aid of any existing tuition waiver you will be receiving for the
current academic year and the number of credit hours you anticipate
enrolling in. Some examples of outside scholarships or tuition
wavers are Michigan Indian Tuition, Wade McCree, EMU Employee
Tuition, etc.

Loan or an alternative loan but have not filled out the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Your signature on this form indicates
that you will use all Title IV funds for educational expenses
at Eastern Michigan University.

There is a fee that is required to take the Graduate Record Examination
(GRE), but to students who qualify, there are a limited number
of GRE waivers for college seniors and unenrolled college graduates.
